Miller Benches Currie!

Sen. Ulysses S. Currie (Happier Times)
According to The Daily Record, Maryland State Senate President Thomas "Mike" V. Miller has replaced Sen. Ulysses Currie with Sen. Edward Kasemeyer to head the powerful state Budget & Taxation Committee. (click here)  This move comes immediately after Currie was indicted by a federal grand jury for receiving almost $250,000 in payments from Shopper's Food Warehouse. (click here) Prince George's County has not only lost an influential and powerful voice in Annapolis but, the cloud of corruption that lingers over Currie's head will render him ineffective to advocate for the People of the 25th District and Prince George's County.   (Just Sayin')
